	For 2012 UBA once again has a great banquet planned.  This year we are pleased to have bowhunting legend and host of Easton Bowhunting TV Fred Eichler as our Guest speaker.  Fred is one of the few to complete the North American super slam with a recurve and as many know has a one of a kind great presence in front of the camera. Along with Fred as a great guest speaker we will once again have our 1st class raffle and auction. The top raffle prizes will again be coming from a top inovator in archery,  a 2012 Hoty Carbon Element RKT. Be sure to get your seats early so your don't miss out on a great evening of entertainment and prizes.

UBA president Roy Hampton and VP of Bowhunting Ben Lowder present the first of many checks to the NASP program.

For the 2012 year and years to come UBA has comitted to the future of our sport.  UBA has enhanced our relationship with NASP(National Archery in the Schools Program)  and has pledged to donate $3,200 a year To the DWR.   This donation will allow at one school a year to purchase the equipment to participate in the NASP program.  Along with the monitary donation UBA will work closely with schools in the program and guide stundents to other clubs and venues they can shoot archery outside of the program. 

Along with the organisations donation we will collaborate with our clubs to raise additional funds and work with local participating schools.  If you want to help out or get your kids school enrolled into the program please contact UBA or the DWR directly and lets get our kids into archery.

The Utah Bowman's Association (UBA) is an organization made of Utah bowhunters, archers, and archery clubs.  UBA is a non-profit organization whose primary function is to help coordinate and cultivate the interests of all Utahan's with respect to archery and bowhunting.

UBA is the bowhunters link to the Utah Division of Wildlife and provides the greatest opportunity for joint efforts by bowhunters to have their voices heard.  The strength of UBA in this mission is directly related to the size of the UBA membership.

The greatest reason to join UBA lies within the basic principle that both the Division of Wildlife Board and other politicians who ultimately make the laws in regards to our hunting regulations are influenced more by those who are organized and supporting a specific set of ideas.  By joining UBA, you join in the effort to enhance all our bowhunting opportunities and to preserve our bowhunting traditions for years to come.
